God has filled me with a desire to pursue Him and His plans for my life as a wife and mother. God is calling me to live a life set apart, a life that reflects who He is in me. A life that challenges me to lean on him in everything I do. A life that doesn't accept society's pressures for women. A life that raises up a Godly heritage. A life that reflects how God designed a wife to love her husband. I long to be thought of as the wife described in Proverbs 31:10-31; "She opens her mouth in wisdom, and the teaching of kindess is on her tongue, she looks well to the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and bless her; her husband also, and he praises her, saying: many daughters have done nobly, but you excel them all. Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised." (v. 26 - 31)
I experienced the best thing that happened to me all week long yesterday. During the praise and worship portion of our church service my husband reached over and grabbed my hand, and then held it during the song. That was the highlight of my week.
